About me

My name is Dan and I really enjoy taking 'gritty photography' as I've been calling it. I do as minimal editing as possible, usually it's just adjusting brightness due to how unpredictable some of these cameras can be (especially when you're an amateur).

I do my best to only shoot period correct subjects, or at the very least something that appears correct. The goal is to take a picture in the current year and for it to automatically look 30-50 years old upon developing it, this is typically very achievable when using expired film with uncleaned vintage cameras.

This website serves as a place for me to share some of my favorite photographs that I’ve taken over the years. As I continue taking more photos, the site will be regularly updated with new additions. It also serves as my only personal “social media,” as creating this site gave me the opportunity to step away from all other social media platforms. At the end of the day, I would like this to be my only online presence.
